Answers on bidding, payment, delivery, refunds and selling.
Bidding
How does an auction on Qlout work?
Each lot is sold in its own room. Bidding opens at the starting bid, every bid must beat the current one by at least the increment shown, and the highest bid when the room closes wins.
Can I cancel a bid?
No. An accepted bid is a binding offer to buy the lot at that amount if it wins, so bid only what you intend to pay.
Why did the closing time move?
A bid in the final seconds extends the room by a short, fixed time so every bidder can respond. It stops last-second sniping and is capped per lot.
Payment
How long do I have to pay after winning?
15 minutes. If payment is not completed in time, the win lapses and the lot may be offered to the next bidder.
How can I pay?
UPI, debit card, credit card, net banking or a wallet, through our payment gateway partner. Qlout never sees or stores your card number, CVV or UPI PIN.
What do I pay on top of my winning bid?
A convenience fee of 3% of the bid with 18% GST on it, and delivery for your PIN code with 18% GST. The full amount is shown before you pay.
My money was debited but the order shows unpaid.
Payments are confirmed by the bank within a few minutes. If it does not update, or the payment failed after debit, the bank reverses it automatically, usually within 5–7 business days. Write to us with the transaction reference if it does not.
Delivery
When will my order arrive?
Sellers dispatch within 3 business days of payment, and delivery takes 3–10 business days after dispatch, depending on the PIN code.
How do I track my order?
When the order ships you receive the courier name and tracking number by SMS and email.
Do you offer cash on delivery?
No. Every order is prepaid online, and nothing is collected at the door.
Refunds
When do I get a refund?
If the order is not dispatched or not delivered, or the item arrives damaged, wrong or not as described and you report it within 48 hours of delivery.
How long does a refund take?
It goes back to the original payment method and usually arrives within 7 business days of approval.
Selling
Who can sell on Qlout?
Indian businesses and individuals with a valid PAN and GSTIN, who pass verification and list only genuine goods they own.
What does selling cost?
Listing is free. On a sale, Qlout deducts 10% commission on the value before GST plus 18% GST on it, and the TCS and TDS the law requires.
